The University of Agriculture Faisalabad is seeking applications for Post-Doctoral Fellowships (one year) from Pakistani / AJK Nationals under the project titled "Establishment of National Center for Genome Editing for Crop Improvement and Human Health (NCGE)". The candidate must hold a PhD degree in the following areas. Experience in Gene Editing would be a plus:
Biotechnology
Microbiology
Animal Sciences
Biological Sciences This is an excellent opportunity for young researchers for further development in their respective fields. A lump sum monthly salary @ Rs. 165.0001- will be paid. The Candidate must: Hold a PhD Degree from an HEC recognized university / Institute. Be maximum 45 years of age on the closing date (i.e. Sep 20, 2021). Have qualified for the Ph.D. degree during the last five years (i.e. since Sep 21, 2016). The applicants must submit a clearly written research proposal, relevant to the project domains (i.e. Fruit Crops, Vegetable Crops, Field Crops, and Human Health). Not have availed any Post-Doctoral Fellowship opportunity (local or international) Application Procedure: Prospective candidates should submit a one-page application along with Research Proposal, a detailed CV, and a set of attested educational / experience certificates to the Undersigned by Sep 20, 2021 (COB). Candidates serving in Public Sector Universities / Organizations / Institutes should apply through proper channels. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
