Executive Student Counsellor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing information to the students and their parents about GIFT University, its admission process trends and test format for merit requirements.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to assist students with educational and career planning throughout the year.
• Represent the University and the departments at public relations events such as educational exhibitions, conferences, seminars, etc.
• Arranging intake tests and interviews for students.
• Keep track of admission decisions and email daily reports to concerned authorities.
• Handling Telephonic queries, thoroughly responding to them, and converting the queries in a walk-in.
• Entering all the walk-in, telephonic, and email queries in the educational software on a daily basis.
• Interacting with all of the faculty members and discussing the problems with HOD-related admissions.
•  Handling all the activities of issuing prospectus, form submission, and follow-up calls during the admission campaign.
• Maintaining liaison with the student affairs department and co-operating with them regarding admission material.

JOB CRITERIA

• Must have a Master's/ Bachelor's Degree from HEC recognized University.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a reputable institute.
• Good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to write, speak and interact clearly and professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including tactfulness, discretion, event organization, teamwork, and ethics.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Preference would be given to similar experiences.
