GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE: IBA Karachi invites applications for the position of Dean School of Mathematics & Computer Science from dynamic individuals who can provide academic leadership and administrative oversight for all aspects including strategic planning. fiscal management, personnel development, academic programs, research enterprises and setting academic rules and policies for the IBA. They wilt be required to become key participants in external relations of the university, including fundraising. alumni relations, economic development and public relations.
REQUIREMENTS: • PhD Degree from HEC recognized University/Institute in the relevant discipline. • Professor as per IBA criteria. • Candidate must bring intellectual leadership to their School and to the IBA overall, being acknowledged as scholars having made some contribution to their field. • The ideal candidate should have a number of years of progressively responsible professional level experience in higher education, some of which must be serving in a leading position with experience of directly managing a large team of diverse portfolios in an academic/research environment • Exceptional academic background. research acumen and an ability to inspire develop and manage School performance across all levels. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Successful track record of teamwork, collaboration and building a progressive/conducive environment.
