Development Coordinator - Office of Advancement

The incumbent is expected to support all major development team efforts, liaising with donor relationship managers, stewardship team, and other departments to support smooth back-end support and operations. 

Main Responsibilities

Donor Communication

• Maintaining all relevant trackers and up to date record keeping related to donor communication, funds raised, invoicing, MOUs, student tagging, and reconciliation.
• Support data collection for donor communication
• Support verification & dissemination of donor utilization reports
• Sharing invoices and acknowledgement receipts/thank you letters with the donors
• Managing and updating information and physical files of donor records in the Donor management software. This includes their biographic information, their giving records and the communication record with the donors and prospective organizations and individuals
• Reconcile donor accounts with finance on a monthly basis and report any discrepancies
• Raising purchase requisitions against expenses incurred in various budget heads, as well as handle budget transfer requests and resolve all these issues with finance

Leading and creating operational support mechanisms

• Identify and implement process improvements in donor management systems
• Posting of budget in external grants maintained in SAP
• Generating reports and data reconciliation of online donations from the online donation portal
• Facilitating internal audit team in regards to departmental audit of fundraising
• Facilitate special audit requirements of projects by third party audit teams
• Managing donor management dashboards

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

Bachelors/Masters in a management discipline from and HEC recognized Institute

Experience

1-2 years in an educational institute or NGO preferably with experience in either donation management, databases management, or customer support
