**Job Description:**
City School E-11 Campus is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team. The Librarian will be responsible for managing the school library, promoting a love for reading among students, and ensuring that the library is a welcoming and resourceful space for learning and research.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the daily operations of the school library, including checking in and out books, managing book inventory, and maintaining library records.
- Develop and implement library programs and activities that encourage reading and literacy among students.
- Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources, including books, digital media, and online databases.
- Organize and manage library collections, including cataloging new materials and weeding out outdated or damaged items.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum and support classroom instruction.
- Conduct library orientation sessions and information literacy workshops for students and staff.
- Manage the library’s budget and make recommendations for new purchases based on the needs of the school community.
- Promote a positive and safe environment within the library, encouraging respectful use of resources and spaces.
