RESEARCH ASSOCIATE NEEDED
Research Associate, with strong research background in business management, is needed by a research group in IBA Karachi
Team of IBA Karachi funded research project entitled 'SME Internationalization' is looking for a Research Associate who would be responsible for organizing a large-scale data collection and analysis activity. This will be a home-based position with occasional visits to the IBA Karachi campuses.
The ideal candidate should at least:
1. have a research focused MSc degree in business, management, or economics from a recognized institute. An MPhil would, however, be preferred, 3. have a proven record of interest in the field of SME internationalization or a relevant field of research, 4. be ready to work in a supervisory role and a team setting, 5. be good at planning and organizing work and prone to meeting tight deadlines, 6. have command over IT tools for planning, organizing, and delegating data collection and analysis work, 7. be a people person with strong connections in the industry and Chambers of Commerce, 8. have command over quantitative and qualitative data analysis tools.
Publications in peer reviewed journals by the candidate are highly desirable but not mandatory
Last date for applications is 11.59 p.m. 16th August 2021. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. This post is initially for six months only but a good performance may lead to appointments in other projects as well.
