Iqra University is looking to hire a Assitsant Manager - Admissions & Retention.
The incumbent will help the overall supervision and effectiveness of the department's numerous programmes and operations. This involves helping develop and implement initiatives for engaging prospective students, parents, guidance counsellors, and administrators. This will include creating a range of activities, including representing IU during intermediate college visits via seminars, leading campus tours, arranging recruiting events, among others. The incumbent will assist in developing school-specific recruiting efforts to engage A level students, as well as helping with O level recruitment based on the institution's established student profiles. Additionally, the applicant will develop different methods for engaging students through various media, including but not limited to email, SMS, and postal contact.
Along with the incumbent, they will help with continuing recruiting and admissions efforts as needed. S/he will also be responsible for establishing and managing a student ambassador programme. The applicant will develop a programme for IU student involvement and teach students to help with various recruiting and admissions tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Organize and deliver workshops/lectures at a variety of schools
Assist the team in developing marketing material
Create communications/campaigns tailored to the needs of your institution
Assist team members with different marketing and recruiting tasks
Collaboration with a variety of stakeholders
Organize and manage the IU student ambassador programme.
Assist in the creation of marketing material
Assist with the organization and implementation of recruiting and admissions-related activities.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A bachelor's degree is required for this position.
At least two years of related job experience, ideally one year in a similar role at a required higher education institution.
1. Proficiency with various information technology applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
High\setc. Particularly well-developed presenting abilities.
2. Ability to work well inside and across teams while maintaining a polite attitude and a high tolerance for different viewpoints.
3. Communication abilities (both written and oral) in English/Urdu
4. Familiarity with the policies of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in Admissions to institutes of higher education have a moderate relationship with it.
5. Capacity for multitasking Medium
